Brno is the second largest city in Czechia by population and area, the largest Moravian city, and the historical capital city of the Margraviate of Moravia. It’s known for its modernist buildings, like the restored Villa Tugendhat, completed in 1930 by architect Mies van der Rohe. The medieval Spilberk Castle houses a city museum, gardens and a former prison with vaulted tunnels. The Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul has baroque altars, a 14th-century statue of the Madonna and Child, and city views from its steeple.
Dresden is the capital city and the second-largest city of the Free State of Saxony in Germany. It is situated in a valley on the River Elbe, near the border with the Czech Republic. Dresden has a long history as the capital and royal residence for the Electors and Kings of Saxony, who for centuries furnished the city with cultural and artistic splendor, and was once by personal union the family seat of Polish monarchs. The city was known as the Jewel Box, because of its baroque and rococo city centre. The controversial American and British bombing of Dresden in World War II towards the end of the war killed approximately 100,000 people, many of whom were civilians, and destroyed the entire city centre. Since German reunification in 1990 Dresden is again a cultural, educational and political centre of Germany and Europe.
" In December we cancelled a holiday xmas market river cruise due to the extreme low water levels on the Danube. We had booked our own air flying from the US to Prague and returning home from Budapest, ...read moreo we decided to go with a Plan B, basically a DIY trip. We used this company for transportation to our various destinations and it worked perfectly. They used very nice Mercedes vans, the drivers we had, Adam from Prague and Roman from Brno we’re very nice, personable and we shared good conversation. The first leg of our trip was from Prague to Nuremberg, Adam was our driver and we were glad to have him return 4 days later to take us from Nuremberg to Vienna. After 3 nights in Vienna, Roman drove us to Budapest, again, wonderful service and enjoyable travel, comfortable and easy. All 3 legs of our travel went off fine, Adam & Roman we’re always on time or even a few minutes early and at the hotels and ready to take us at the scheduled time. We were told to let them know if and when we wanted to make a comfort stop, worked perfectly each time. We made payment by credit card at the arrival at each location, very convenient and easy. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending this company to anyone interested in transportation in Europe. Yes, we could have done this less expensively by using the excellent train systems but the ease, reliability and comfort made this a great way to travel. We received timely email correspondence when booking online, easy and reliable. Nothing more to say except thanks Adam & Roman, the service you provided was more than we could have hoped for. Thanks again. "
